Race Day Schedule: The CWIRA race day starts with sign-up opening at 8am and running until 10. We will sign you up at most any time of the day but there will be a penalty if it is after 10am. Practice usually runs from 9 until 10 with riders meeting at 10:30. The first race of the day gets underway shortly after the end of the riders meeting - usually 11am.
Directions: From the Northeast: Hiway 64 to Hiway 40, South into Bloomer. Everywhere else Hiway 53 to exit 110 at Hiway 40, North into Blomer. Follow 40/Main Street to Duncan Road/Hiway Q North. It will run along the West shore of the lake Northward to Vine Street. Just North of the intersection with Lakeshore Drive is the boat landing. A more "direct" route (but using more residential streets) would be to take Thompson Street (the first left after the Hiway 53 exit) and go north to Duncan Road/Q, turn left then right onto Vine. For cell phone/On-Star/Garmin GPS downloads/directions click here, then follow the link in "the bubble" attached to the red location star.
CWIRA Membership: The CWIRA does allow 1-day membership for $10 so riders may compete without paying the full $30 yearly membership. This does count towards a full membership and we count all your points earned racing - even from the "1-day pass" events.
Cancellation/Updates: Last minute updates/cancellations or other high priority information is distributed via twitter/cwira. We recommend you follow via us via Twitter in the event information is announced "en route". The raceday hotline is 715-212-6340 and can be called at any time - if there is an update or cancellation that information will also be available on the voicemail there.
