Lake Tomah/Winnebago Park - Tomah, WI

2017 Race Date - Feb 5 - Sunday - Race Results

Promoter:  This event is promoted by Ken Marcou (715) 284-4093, Jack Potter (608) 378-4722 and the Central Wisconsin Ice Racing Association with help from Kold Kutter.

Mid-Season Championship History:  Last years results.  Several years ago faced with the prospect of raising entry fees to cover costs of the yearly CWIRA Series it was decided that one event each year would be sponsored and promoted by the Association.  This is the race that pays a large portion of the cost involved with the CWIRA Points Series and the yearly awards.  Track and other event workers are the members of the Association helping to bring Ice Racing to the success it has enjoyed over the years.  This race has become one of the most popular of the year for spectators, and as the CWIRA Mid-Season Championship - the most challenging for racers as well!  The on-site race responsibilities and track lay-out are handled by Ken Marcou of the CWIRA - also known as the "Quadfather" for his many years (and many Quad Racing Championships) of racing success.  If you are interested in helping at this event - volunteers are always needed - you can earn "worker points"!  Click here for more information.  The Tomah race has always been one of our most well-attended races of the year and the racers always enjoy the biggest crowds of spectators we see on the lakes - it's a great race!
