WEYAUWEGA, WI - County Fairgrounds

2010 Race Date - Feb 13/14 - Special CASH Program Saturday, Full CWIRA Points on Sunday - Race Results

Food concessions available on site as part of the Fire On Ice Weyauwega Celebration.  Also running there this weekend will be USSA Oval Snowmobiles and GNSS Snowcross.  This is a "Fairgrounds" facility - not a lake.  The pit area has been flooded to protect tire screws to and from the track.  All racing will be in front of the grandstand.

IMPORTANT!:  Because we are sharing this venue with other events we are required to use a unique insurance waiver.  Each racer must fill out this waiver and bring it to entry - they will be available at signup.  This is in addition to any other form (like a minor release if under 18) you need to turn in.

Promoter Contact:  Jim Falke (920) 585-5765

Directions:  Hiway 10 to Weyauwega, from the West exit at W. Main Street.  Follow Main to S. Pine then turn right.  At E. South Street turn left and follow into Fairgrounds.  From the East you can exit Hiway 10 at S. Pine and take it North to E. South Street.  For cell phone/On-Star/Garmin GPS downloads/directions click here, then follow the link in "the bubble" attached to the red location star.

Saturday:  We will be running three “Pro/Am” classes – Open Quad, Open Bike and Open Rubber ATV (includes 3-wheelers).  There will be 100% cash payback with an added $750 so the payout will go deeper into the field.  Signup is at 8, practice at 10 and racing starts on Saturday at 11.  $20 Entry fee for Saturday only.

Sunday:  Get there early!  Signup starts at 7, practice from 8 to 9 only and racing at 10.  Sunday will be our normal CWIRA Points Series program and will run all classes like we do each week.  We will be taking a slightly longer intermission to allow the USSA to finish their snowmobile classes.

SPEED TV:  The big news this weekend is that Speed TV will be there both days filming for the Lucas Oils “On The Edge” program!  The information we have is they plan to produce three shows from the weekend, one each on snowmobiles, bikes & quads.  We need bio information on the riders – contact Al Falke  – the producers need background on the racers to use in the program.  Yes, this is “big time” national TV here to film you racers.

CWIRA Membership:  The CWIRA does allow 1-day membership for $10 so riders may compete without paying the full $30 yearly membership.  This does count towards a full membership and we count all your points earned racing - even from the "1-day pass" events.

Cancellation/Updates:  Last minute updates/cancellations or other high priority information is distributed via twitter/cwira.  We recommend you follow via us via Twitter in the event information is announced "en route".  The raceday hotline is 715-212-6340 and can be called at any time - if there is an update or cancellation that information will also be available on the voicemail there.  To see the latest road conditions click here
